Tiling - Part 1

We had a look on site today and saw that the floors in the bathrooms and laundry had been tiled.

Here is the Main Bathroom

Ensuite

Downstairs Bathroom

Laundry

Also, the kitchen walls had been tiled but a mistake has been made. We're not sure if the tiler was aware but there will be a stainless steel splashback above the cooker. Which means the tiles should not have been put on the part of the wall above where the cooker will go.

Oh well, as long as it's put right, no problem.

A reminder about the triangular bath tub in your main bath room, when it's completed, make sure you fill it up with up to 3/4 of water, then get 1 or 2 adults to step in. Then check for:
1) leaking downstairs
2) if the area where the bath tub joins the tiles cracked.

Both happened to us, and they still haven't fix item 2) after 6 months. AllCastle said it's tiler problem, tiler said he only do the tiling didn't install the bath tub....

Make sure you check this before accepting hand over!

Cheers
